The moon is such an important element in many cultures. In paganism and neo-paganism, it is a real compass that directs our lives and, sometimes, our rituals. Its different phases each have a function, a symbol... Here are some examples:
- New moon - When the moon isn’t at night sky : it represents new beginnings.
- First Quarter Moon - When half of the moon appeared, the other one hidden : it represents decision-making.
- Full Moon - When the Moon create a perfect circle : it represents release and sealing of intentions.
- Third Quarter Moon - When decreasing, the Moon shows its other half : it represents forgiveness.
